Staycation? Three Ways to Wear Your Breton Shirt

So, the pandemic may have put paid to your plans to go abroad but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a holiday. Staycationers, unite!

If you’re heading for a seaside break, you can certainly enjoy the sea and sand…and fingers very much crossed for the sun, too. In your weekend bag, make sure you have a Breton shirt or two – and here are three ways to wear it for a super chic staycation.

With Chinos and Bright White Trainers

Who doesn’t love a pair of navy chinos? They look great with loafers or bright white trainers and are the perfect pairing with a Breton shirt – particularly our Breton Rouge, which is a great contrast to dark blue chinos.

Chinos are ideal for late summer/early autumn, too – just make sure you have a cardigan or a warm jacket to hand and you’re good to go.

With Mom Jeans

Mom or ‘mum’ jeans are all the rage at the mo, thanks to the slouchy and oh-so-comfy fit. They seem to be universally flattering, too, and can be teamed with a crisp, white shirt, an oversized band tee or even your favourite Breton. Well, of course you’re going to opt for the Breton.

Choose a great pair of distressed or bleached denim jeans and go for our Breton Noir, for a chic but cosy vibe.

With a Comfy Pair of Dungarees

We love a pair of dungarees for easy autumn outfit styling – do you? Whether yours are traditional blue denim dungarees, or white or black, a comfy pair will go with just about anything underneath.

A long-sleeved t-shirt is always a winner, though – and we think our Saint Etienne shirt will look just as fab with a pair of white dungarees as it would with a black pair.

Let’s take a closer look at the shirt here…

Inspired by our founder’s love of ‘the beautiful game’, this gorgeous shirt is a staple for your staycation wardrobe.

Don’t forget, we’re still stocking Breton-striped face protectors, too. You can find them here – and they’re available in a host of colours as well.

Allowing you to be safe while out and about – and whether you’re at home or abroad – the masks are sustainable, as they’re made from offcuts from our workshop.

They will more than do the job of keeping you safe and they will complement just about any outfit. Choose from black, red, green or blue, or alternate your mask with your clothes. They’re just £10.95 and we ship worldwide – get yours today and be ready for your summer break.
