The 'red' Navy Breton Shirt

Occasionally a brief study of history throws up a surprise or two.  The Navy Breton Shirt or ‘Telnyashka’ comes from Russia – right? Wrong. It first appeared in Russia in the 19th century when returning merchant seamen wore them after buying or exchanging clothing whilst visiting European ports.  Class dismissed!  Can be worn as an undershirt.  Can be slept in.  Can be worn while jogging or even hiking. Exact in every detail and a great addition to your Breton wardrobe even if its compass points towards the East. Square cut. Made from super soft 180 gsm organic cotton with a subtly different 1 x 1 stripe formation.
