Breton Stripe X2

Back in 1858, the original instruction from the French Navy was for their sailors to wear a uniform with a shirt with 21 navy stripes. We have tried to follow this instruction faithfully give or take a few stripes or additional colours depending size or style. Until now.

Maybe controversially, we have strayed from the original design and because the only real sin is to be boring, we concocted a shirt with just 2 stripes. Classic navy base with the addition of a crisp white and red stripe made in super soft double jersey 220 gsm cotton. A future Breton icon we reckon.
