Are you about to place an order but you're not entirely sure which Breton shirt's for you? Or perhaps you'd like to know which size to pick, or even how to care for your new stripy top. No problem. We have the answers to all your burning questions right here on our Frequently Asked Questions page. So, dive right in...

Now, that’s a good question. We have a range of styles to choose from here on the site and we’re sure you’ll have lots of fun picking out your favourite. Which shirt to go for is, of course, entirely up to you, but if you need a few pointers, head here.
Start by measuring the circumference of your chest, an inch under your armpit. Then refer to our sizing guide [insert link].

If you’d like a looser fit, remember to size up. Please note that when we measure a shirt to list the details here on our site, we lay the shirt out flat on the floor.
Look after your shirt and it’ll reward you by still looking great in years to come. All our garments are made from 100% knitted organic cotton, which is hand cut to size.

Make sue you machine wash your shirt at 30°C, and don’t be tempted to tumble dry it. Steam iron your shirt back to its original shape and size following washing. For individual sizing guidelines, please refer to our product-specific size and care guides on each product page.
Yes, the shirt will tighten up over time during the washing and drying process but do be assured that no shrinkage will occur if it’s washed at 30 degrees.
If you need to return your Breton shirt for any reason, please be aware that we do not cover the cost of return postage. You will also need to head to your local post office to return the parcel; we don’t offer a courier service at this time.

To return the shirt to us for an exchange or refund, look for the returns label in the original package, filling it out and shipping it back to us with the unwanted shirt(s). The form contains all the info you need, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any more assistance.

Our return address is:

Wondering what the different numbers (gsm) refer to here on our site? They reflect the weight of the shirt’s fabric, with 180gsm being a standard t-shirt thickness, 220gsm being an interlocked cotton fabric (a slightly thicker t-shirt), and 300gsm offering the thickness of a sweatshirt.
Breton shirts are designed to fit snug to the body. With this in mind, and if you’d prefer a looser fit, remember to size up when shopping on our site.
We do have a handful of pictures of models wearing our t-shirts and you’ll find these scattered throughout our Instagram feed. We love sharing photos that show off our shirts on all body types – and on men and women, too, so do take a look here for some inspiration. Feeling stylish in your new Breton shirt? Don’t forget to tag us in your own photos and we’ll share our favourites.

We add new questions and answers to our FAQ page regularly, so you can find the info you need, when you need it.
